I tried to create the playlist for the zte c79 but it wont allow me to create one. First I go to Music Player. Then it states that no playlist and if I want to create one. I select yes then select all music. From there it only gives me the option to go back. Can some one please tell me how to create this stupid playlist so I can listen to the MP3 player?

  • dayesonny May 25, 2009

Yep, me too! Bought phone, bought 2gb micro sd card, put card in phone slot. Nothing happened. Went to Windows Media Player, dragged 1gb worth of my library songs to the sync window, hit start sync, and Windows Media showed songs being synced with sd card. When it finalized, it said Ok to remove usb from device. So I did. I opened Multimedia on phone and...Voila! Not a ***damned thing! I opened My Music, My Playlist, My Tunes...still not a ***damned thing! I f**ked around with this piece of sh*t for almost 2 hours. And MotherF**king phone didn't pick up a MotherF**king G**damn peep onto the soundcard. I'm taking this
Monkey-*** piece of G**damned bullsh*t back to Metro and I ain't taking to sh*t neither!!! Sh*t!!! Damn!!! Just make it simple!!!
    Ok, I'm alright now. Later.

I JUST bought this phone, and got very frustrated trying to download music into the music player. Drag and drop your music files from your pc into your "my music" folder. They DO NOT show up right away, this is why i got pissed. I figured I was doing something wrong. I had the card in my phone, and my phone plugged into the usb port. They finally showed up on my phone after I took the card out and put it back in. As far as saving them for ringtones, I am pretty pissed that I can't do it. I am thinking Metro wants us to pay for them. That is such b&*%$#*!

If you want to use your music as a ringtone, you have to transfer the files to your phone using a bluetooth connection either from your computer or another phone, or e-mail the song as an attachment to your ZTC c79. Your e-mail address is (yourPhoneNumber)@mymetropcs.com. Those files won't save to your SD card and will go directly to phone memory and into MyTunes.

I use Myxer.com to modify my mp3's or whatever by using the make your own ringtone option. You can also use Myxer to send them to your phone, but you can also save the modified file to your comp and do what I said before.

Summary-
MyMusic- MicroSD card: connect phone, make MyMusic folder, put music into that folder.

MyTunes- E-mail the file to your phone, or use a bluetooth connection to send it.

Go to menu, music and media, my music (it will only show if you have than scandisk memory card inserted already) it will show the music that you have already on the memory card, go to one song and press play, then press option, click music library, click all music, click a song on the list to play it, it will load and display all the songs. from doing that, whenever you press the music button on the key pad or out on the front cover of the phone, it play the songs automatically. you will have to do this all over once you load more music to the memory card. :)

....You can also place the micro SD card into an adapter which can be placed in a memory card reader and transfer the files from your computer to the SD card and then put the card back in the phone

You could connect your cell phone using the USB cable provided. After connected, you start copying the musing file into the phone.
To create a play list, you need to open the media player which able to create, edit and delete playlist.

Some phones simply do not allow you to save downloaded songs, pictures, etc to your phone. In your case this is what it sounds like. Try looking at your manual but it sounds like its nothing you can work around. Sorry!

Garmin does not read scandisk 2 gb.

it might be due to the fact that you garmin cannot read AAC music format(the format itunes uses). try using windows media player to rip the CD then put the music on the card using windows media player. this should take care of your issue.

hope this helped.
please rate good.

Free Downloads for ZTE C79 Cell Phone from MetroPCS

WHat up? Ok to get the ringtones to your phone (which I have searched for two days to find a solution) do the following

1.) get your desired .mp3, or .mid ringtone file and have it on your pc.
2.) log into your email (yahoo, hotmail, etc), create an email and attach the .mp3 file. Make sure the .mp3 file in under 500k in size.
3.) in to TO: box enter the following ,<yourphonenumber>@mymetropcs.com and send it.
4.) check your message box when your phone chimes.
5.) press the Get button to download the file to your phone. If your file is over 500k it may not download.
6.)Now go to your inbox
7.) press the Browse button to stop the file from playing.
8.) make sure the file is selected, press the Up button (Top outter ring of the middle menu button)
9.) press the options button, select "use higlighted object" and save it to your phone.
10.) the file will now be in the MyTUnes folder and you can now set it as your main ringtone or a contact ring tone. (I'm typing this from memory so my menu selection names may be off a little but this shold get yall going. I was HYPE when I found this solution. I'm now searching on how to get the games on it.

Hope this helps!
