Question about Cell Phones
I have purchased a zte c79 through metro pcs. i also purchased a scandisk 1 gb micoSD. How do i download songs onto the memory card, and how do i create a playlist to this phone???
I JUST bought this phone, and got very frustrated trying to download music into the music player. Drag and drop your music files from your pc into your "my music" folder. They DO NOT show up right away, this is why i got pissed. I figured I was doing something wrong. I had the card in my phone, and my phone plugged into the usb port. They finally showed up on my phone after I took the card out and put it back in. As far as saving them for ringtones, I am pretty pissed that I can't do it. I am thinking Metro wants us to pay for them. That is such b&*%$#*!

If you want to use your music as a ringtone, you have to transfer the files to your phone using a bluetooth connection either from your computer or another phone, or e-mail the song as an attachment to your ZTC c79. Your e-mail address is (yourPhoneNumber)@mymetropcs.com. Those files won't save to your SD card and will go directly to phone memory and into MyTunes.
I use Myxer.com to modify my mp3's or whatever by using the make your own ringtone option. You can also use Myxer to send them to your phone, but you can also save the modified file to your comp and do what I said before.
MyMusic- MicroSD card: connect phone, make MyMusic folder, put music into that folder.
MyTunes- E-mail the file to your phone, or use a bluetooth connection to send it.

Go to menu, music and media, my music (it will only show if you have than scandisk memory card inserted already) it will show the music that you have already on the memory card, go to one song and press play, then press option, click music library, click all music, click a song on the list to play it, it will load and display all the songs. from doing that, whenever you press the music button on the key pad or out on the front cover of the phone, it play the songs automatically. you will have to do this all over once you load more music to the memory card. :)

....You can also place the micro SD card into an adapter which can be placed in a memory card reader and transfer the files from your computer to the SD card and then put the card back in the phone

You could connect your cell phone using the USB cable provided. After connected, you start copying the musing file into the phone.
To create a play list, you need to open the media player which able to create, edit and delete playlist.
