Question about Brother MultiFunction Center MFC-440CN All-In-One InkJet Printer
I only ever print in black and the colour cortridges seem to have run out. It there a way I can continue using the printer without having to buy new colour as well?
Unfortunately, this is an all too common situation. The answer is no. The printer will purge the printhead in order to keep the head in good condition. This involves sucking down a small amount of ink everytime. Slowly but surely it will by default empty all your cartridges. There is nothing you can do about it.
Unfortunate but that is the way it is with all ink printers.
