IN ORDER TO HOOK IT UP U HAVE TO HAVE A RCA CONVERTER, YOU CAN EITHER HOOK IT UP THROUGH YOUR MIDS OR SPLICE INTO YOU STOCK WIRE HARNESS FOR YOUR STEREO, IN THE SPEAKER WIRES.
GOOD LUCK

I bought Alpine X-305s head unit for my 2004 Mazda 6. My Mazda has the standard AM/FM with CD player. It does not have the BOSE system. It does not have an additional CD changer. My question is: will I...

The usual items you will need is a wiring harness and an install kit. The wiring harness will allow you to hook the radio to it, and then just plug into the car. The install kit will have all the little mounts and trim rings you might need. Each of them cost around $15 each, unless you have some crazy set up. Your's doesn't sound like that. You can purchase these items at www.crutchfield.com and you can search for your specific vehicle. Hope this helps.

I have an Alpine CDE-100 and when I hooked up my subs and amp I would only get subs with radio and regular speakers for my ipod via usb and the cd player? I had a friend that use to install sound systems...

While I don't know the specifics of this head unit, I would guess that it has settings that can be adjusted for each source. You might check to see if there's a menu that allows you to turn the subs on/off for the various program sources.

My alpine cd player turns my amp off when i try to play a cd.when I switch back to radio it turns the amp back on again.

if i had to guess....

this seems to me to be a problem with the red power wire connection in the harness. resistance in that wire will cause low voltage, but allow the unit to power up. it also allows the radio to play because that takes very little power. turning the cd is done with an electric motor that takes up more power, and as a result, there is no power left to go to the amplifier remote wire.

Hello i just recently bought alpine speakers for my eclipse 2003

mostly because the subs in the back are probley using more amps than the ones in the front in the front should be used mostly for vocals and your bass in the trun so maybe trying to unhook the ones in the front from the sub and just leave then hooked up to the cd player where you can hear the vocals really good and leave your subs in the back hooked up to the amp

Subwoofers work with radio and not cd player

You have mistakenly used the power antenna remote wire for the amplifier remote wire. When the FM/AM source is de-selected, the signal drops from that wire so the power antenna will go down.

Switch the 2 blue wires and you will be problem free.

I have a jvc stereo hooked up to two boss subs. and a alpine 300w amp and when i turn it up the cd player skips

Make sure that the head unit is secured tight, it might be the bass that is rattling the head unit and therefore the cd is jumping.
