Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repair professionals here in the US. click here to Talk to a Technician (only for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need. Goodluck!

Well first its spelled craigslist.not the way it was spelled in this question. Spelling is critical in log in. But chances are you may not be the correct e-mail account. Use a gmail address. Then don't use a allows account. Make yourself 2 master accounts . one with a Microsoft and one with Google. And don't use the same password. Try that and if that doesn't work come back. Turn off in setting on your e-mail where word recognition. Spell and check twice.
try to log into the mail directly on the web page ..and not from outlook or so ...Another thing ...for example if you use yahoo ...they can have server issues ..and sometimes it is almost impossible to log in for a while ...wait 24 hours and try again ...This stands as a solution in case you typed the wrong password for a few times..and now it is locked as a prevention for 24 hours ..it is standard procedure when you type a wrong password... Also check not to have the cap-lock button pressed on ...cause in this case even the correct spelled passord will not work cause will be written in majors.. You can take in consideration a hack or a bad joke made by someone whom knew your password..and changed it ...for this ..you will have to get to the domain page ..(yahoo.com mail ...or gmail.com ...or msn.com ..or hotmail..etc..) and in there try to log in ...If the caplock is not on ...and the password is the correct one..but it still refuses to let you log..on ..take a look for the forgot password..link ...and engage it for to start the recover or change password procedure.. Usually they will ask you a few questions that only you or the person that made the email account knows ...and after that will either provide you with a link where you can chage the password..or will direct you to the page where you can do that .. For some domains..like yahoo..it is availale a secondary email attached on the account ..and if you have such a thing will be easier..cause soon as you report the forgoten password..they will send you a password changer link in the secondary email ..which you previously should have attached on the account .. If the password is endeed changed..and you can not answer to the security questions..or you do not have a secondary email address linked to the account ..the password will be impossible to change ..and the account lost for ever..best to make another one ..and change the email address in any important location you used it ...(banck ...job related...and such ..)
The reason behind losing access to a Facebook account is because of the email address that you use to register was no longer accessible.
Please log in first in your Yahoo mail account.
If you can not sign in, 1. Go to https://edit.yahoo.com/forgot?stage=fe100&src=ym&intl=us&done=http://mail.yahoo.com&partner= 2. Enter your email address or Yahoo! ID, inside the box, next to "My Yahoo! ID is" 3. See the code - a series of letters and numbers, enter it inside the box, next to "Enter the Code Shown" 4. Click the Next button. 5. Enter into the box the answer to the question 1, then click Next button. 6. Enter into the box the answer to the question 2, then click Next button. 7. Enter your new password and retype it for confirmation.
After this procedure, your Yahoo mail account with new password will now be accessible.
Next, try to log in with your Facebook account. Check that maybe you are not entering a user id and password in its correct spelling.
Please let me know if you need more help. Thank you for asking Fixya.
Bruce, Windows Security does not have the ability to block and e-mail account. The real problem is, is that you just forgot what the password is.
Same thing you will get from your e-mail client like Outlook 2003 or 2007, if you can't provide the correct password.
Go to the login page of Ymail and use the link "I can't access my account". Answer the questions, follow the instructions, and provide an alternate e-mail address, and the password will be e-mailed to you.
Please let me know if you have any questions regarding your e-mail problem.
Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendar > Add Account > Other > Add Mail Account
From here complete all the fields:
Name (Your name)
Address (email address of account your adding)
Password (password used to log into the email account)
Description (Anything you want)
Now, once this is complete, it may retrieve the correct mail settings for you (some accounts do) however if it asks you for a pop3 setting and a smtp setting, then use the following:
that should be everything you need :)
You can always go into their "I fogot my password" section. If you are able to answer some of the security questions you *hopefully* set up, then you may be able to regain access to your account.
If this does not work and you believe someone has hacked into your account, you should contact yahoo. They are not known for quick responses, but they should be able to give you back your email if you can answer some verification questions.
