I wasn't aware that there were any pendrives of this size on the market. What some devious people do is somehow loop a smaller memory stick so when you are copying data to it, it will just keep overwriting itself until the file has finished.
Try it on another usb port..or If the windows can't format try formatting it from the command prompt if it's not working than must be pendrive.. i think there's no problem with other pendrives.. or the one that you have
If you want to download any content from internet directly to your pen drive and if you are using IE as your browser then click on Save when you download and locate your pen drive under My Computers. If you are using Firefox then after download right click on the content in the download window and select open folder. Now copy your content and paste into pen drive.
