All of sudden my pinpad refuses to work now, don't have any idea what happened. will take debit card all the way to entering pin #, then flashes no dkey. have run diagnostics with merchant processor and they are telling me, i will have a buy a new pinpad. this thing isn't a year old, but has no warranty thru BBT bank who is my processor
The encryption that is loaded on the pin pad is wiped out; this may have happened when powering off the terminal, unplugging the pin pad without unplugging the terminal power source first. What you would have to find out is what platform you are on from your processor, if they are not willing to do it, you can contact companies that will reprogram your pin pad. This will be cheaper than to buy another pin pad.
What has happened is that, somehow, the memory in the unit has gotten wiped clean. The only way to get the keys back into the unit is to have it reprogrammed at the processor's main office. They may not offer that service. Yep, they have you over a barrel. Buy a new unit.

It depends on the carrier. After checking the specs though the phone comes back as a 4G LTE device so you will need a SIM card for ATT, Sprint, and Verizon. If you are on something like Straight Talk or MetroPCS, then they do not use SIMs
Why can't people put a problem in the right catagory?
Generally, you can remove the Bios backup battery or use the jumper on the motherboard to reset the bios completely.
Google "reset bios" to get an idea of how to do it, or do the same in Youtube for a video. Lots of them are out there.
If you have a Windows OS, press and hold the ALT and CTRL (control) keys and then press the Up arrow. (If that doesn't work, try holding the Alt and CTRL keys and pressing the left (or right) arrow key twice.) If that fails, right click on the desktop (Windows+D will minimize all programs), anywhere with no running programs or icons. Then select the Screen Resolution option. Look for the line Orientation; use the drop down menu to select the correct orientation. Click Apply and then confirm the setting change if a confirmation window pops up. (This works in Windows 7 and 8.) For older Windows versions on laptops, you may need to select Graphics Properties (or a similar line) and then repeat this. The Windows screen rotation option is dependent on your video card. With some models, you'll need to open the graphics card properties to undo the rotation. You should see a line for the graphics adapter when you right click on the Display.
For Macintosh OS, make sure that the System Preferences is closed. Then open it by pressing Option/alt + CMD . Select the line Display. Find the button labeled Rotation: Standard then choose the correct screen orientation.
try checking windows control panal too see if you have drivers installed. if o.k. try sound icon to see if you have ticked mute box. here's the one that got me,the dvd playing program had the mute box ticked. re-launch dvd played/media played and un-tick. good luck
Try the following: Using your FN key and the F7 Key together it might work again. You could have toggled the touchpad off. If that does not work you have issues with either the touchpad or the operating system. Best of Luck.
check that all removable media is removed from computer, flash drives etc,if this message still appears the reinstall your os, there are several reasons for this error. You may have to replace your hard drive if that is the issue- you would know because after reinstall (if it makes it thru it) it will only crash again, this is much too big of a subject to sum it all up here and now, good luck... more questions just ask
