Normal 0 Go to Control Panel and Click on Device Manager. Then go down to Imaging Devices and click on the + and right click and then click on DISABLE. Then click OK
Or you could disable the Laptop Microphone but its more complicated to achieve.

I have just purchased a Trust webcam which states it has a 'Built in Microphone' (which can be seen on the face of the product), however it only has a USB lead. How can this record sound?

I don't really know but the mike only lets you to be heard by the other party, it dosn't actually "record" (same as mike on cell phone)

Does it have a microphone

No.

I wouldn't reccomend buying a camera with a built in mike. They're usually pretty awful. Far better a separate mike or headset with built in mike.

What causes microphone feedback on Skype

Speakers could be to close to the Mike or to volume loud. Move the mike away from the speakers or turn them facing away from the mike.
Hope this is of some help. Bud

Web camera trouble with skype

Check with the Task Manager to make sure there really is no porgram using the webcam, Logitech also has an application installed that is not visible. In some cases this background application is actually required, in others it can cause problems. Not sure if this is true for the Veo cam.
