SOURCE: LCD SCREEN WONT WORK

Here's the official letter from Fuji:............... FUJI PHOTO FILM U.S.A., INC. announces that some of the FinePix A303, F410, and F700 digital camera models may develop a problem with the CCD imaging sensor. However, the problem affects a limited number of units and may not occur in all cameras. The symptoms are captured images that appear completely black, have a purplish cast or multi- colored distortions. These symptoms would be seen on the camera LCD monitor when the camera is in the shooting mode or during playback. A limited number of these models will have these problems. Your camera is certainly giving the signs of a bad CCD but it's not on Fuji's list. But don't worry I had my 602Z fixed for free out of warranty and there's plenty of reports of other Fuji models not listed being repaired. Email Fuji and explain what your camera is doing and as long as you have the warrabty card and proof of purchase they should help you out. GOOD LUCK

SOURCE: fuji Finex 800 camera

If it's pink/purple and "streaky", you have a bad CCD sensor. The only fix is replacement of the sensor. This is the main image capturing sensor in the camera. The situation is well documented on the web. It's usually the end of the camera, unless it's under warranty (or just a little past). Approaching Fuji's repair department can sometimes yield a sympathetic rep who'll have it fixed at no charge to you. If you are on the hook for the repair, expect to drop about $100 US.

This is a chip problem... My FIRST S7000, had this problem, and I had it replaced by Fuji {out of warranty}, now today, the SECOND S7000 is doing the exact same thing!

Contact Fuji at their New Jersey offices for info on how to get your camera repaired.

How do i change the aspect ratio on mysanyo dp52848 tv

You cannot change the aspect ratio. When a program is transmitted in 408i you will get a small picture in the center of the screen surrounded by black bars. This not the fault of the TV. You can try using the zoom feature, but the picture clarity will suffer.

Daewoo DTQ-19TV1fc aspect ratio changed to letterbox. How do I restore it to full screen?

get the on screen menu on the screen
scroll around till you see aspect ratio and click on that use the buttons to change ( you will see the changes on the screen)
click ok and exit when satisfied
Fir aspect ration to change there can be a few reasons
some tv stations produce movies in the wrong ratio and it shows up for the movie as black edges or tall figures or fat figures ( change channel to verify)
or there can be a fault occurring in the board of the set that will not hold preset aspect ratios

The text along the sides of the tv screen are not completely in view

you need to change the 'zoom' on the tv by the remote.
Normal mode frames the 4:3 video to the 16:9 picture area by displaying it in its original aspect ratio, with vertical gray or black bars on both sides of the screen. The disadvantage of this method is the fact that the image is small by virtue of not using the entire width of the screen. This is also known as the 4:3 mode.
Full mode Full mode horizontally stretches the 4:3 video evenly across the entire width of the screen. This is the proper mode to display anamorphic video. If used for standard aspect ratio video, everything on the screen will appear wider than normal. Contrast this with anamorphic video displayed without processing on a 4:3 display, in which people on the screen will appear taller than normal. This is also known as the 16:9 mode.
Zoom mode Zoom mode evenly stretches the picture both horizontally and vertically, until the picture fills the entire width of the screen. This crops out the top and bottom of the picture. This mode is used for letterboxed and open matte video.
14:9 mode Main article: 14:9
In 14:9 mode, the picture is magnified more than in Normal mode, but less than in Zoom mode, while retaining the original aspect ratio.
Wide Zoom mode Wide Zoom mode, also called Just mode, Horizon, or Smart Stretch, progressively stretches the picture horizontally, less in the middle and more on the edges. This allows normal aspect ratio video to be displayed across the entire width of the screen, with minimal cropping, and with much less of the unpleasing visual stretching effect of Full mode.

How to change monitor aspect ratio for acer AL1916

The aspect ratio is expressed as two numbers separated by a colon (x:y). and they actually represent the relation between width and height of (in your case) your monitor.

Did you mean to change the resolution of your monitor? Could you please explain your problem in more detail? What is it exactly you want to achieve?

Screen border

You are probably in the "3:2" ratio print setting. This is accessed through the "F" button, under image quality. The 3:2 is a ratio of height to width which corresponds to a 4x6 inch print. The other settings are approx. 4x5.33 inches in h to w ratio. Just change the quality setting to the larger megapixel settings and the bars will disappear.
