No audio out of a brand new Pioneer DEH-2000MP car stereo

The unit has power and all functions work with the exception of no audio going to the speakers and the owners manual has no trouble shooting section!

I am not completely sure what you are saying. But I am installing this new stereo in a 1994 Chevy Camaro. This new stereo is replacing an OEM factory am/fm cd player that had the cd player quit working.

Its not the select button, you must have the power off and hold the function button down for about 5 seconds, display will change and you will be able to navigate your way to the clock from there. Hope this helps.

Check the fuse panel under your dash, & there may be a fuseable link in the ignition wire behind the stereo also, somtimes when you get a jump it can pop a fuse or 2.

Can't fit subwoofer amp leads to pioneer DEH-2000MP Head unit

pioneer head units only distribute like 200 rms or so to the speakers. you might have to find a blue maybe even blue with white striped wire and nick it just enough to tie your amp wire around it. tape it up and see if it works.

Connecting Pioneer DEH-2000MP to an amplifier

Hi and welcome to FixYa,

You would need a special adapter that connects to the speaker wires of the Pioneer DEH-2000MP and converts them to line level RCA ports. Something like the image below and available from here or most car stereo stores.

Good luck and thank you for using FixYa.
