Logitech R-10 speakers

I have new Logitech R-10 speakers. They do work, I have tried them on a compact disc player and they are fine. I have switched power on and off, and they are also (tried and tested)plugged into the right slot on my tower. They did not come with any software or CD with which to install them, and my PC does not recognise them...seems to be looking for driver information or somehting anyway that I don't have. I have tried! many thansk - shining27

The R10 speakers are analog speaker drivers are not needed, you may need drivers for your sound card-- quick test plug a headset into the green port on the back of your computer. if there is sound coming thru then the sound card is fine and you need to make sure your connection are correct. if no sound, plug the headset into the front ports for headphones. if sound is coming thru there but not in back the sound card needs replacement the port is bad.

Only 2 of my 5 speakers work o.o'

the input for the speakers need to be 5.1
i guess you might have connected to 2.1 audio source
if i am not wrong, you might have connected it to 2.1output of your PC
try connecting the same to an DVD or compact Disc players, which has 5.1output

Logitech pure-fi Anywhere 2 Remote Control not working. Tried a new battery & still not working? any suggestions?

I received my anywhere one week ago, the remote didn't work, reracking several times didn't help, I replaced the battery with minus to plus vv. and then put it in again properly, working flawlessly since. Logitech won't advise this method but it's worth trying.

Turns off every two minutes

you just have to turn the volume up on the mp3 player and down on the speakers.
i guess they have a low noise automatic shut off or something so i turned the volume all the way up on my player and the problem was solved.
