Updateing My Lg VX3500

I would be cautious about downloading firmware/software from anywhere other than the oficial LG web site as you may render the system useless and unrecoverable if the wrong version or there is an error in the download gets installed.
As a rule, like Windows Phones, if there is no official update, the system is out of date and time to replace it.
Have you spoken to an authorised LG service department/workshop .....

How to Transfer Photos from LG to Computer or Mac

Are the internal speakers properly connected via the rear-mounted 1/4 inch "Speaker Output" jack? If so and still no sound, try connecting a separate external speaker (floor monitor, pa cabinet) for a "low volume" test.

The OM says the internal speakers are 4 ohm so it's unlikely that a wiring problem with speaker connections would cause all four to stop working. With AC power disconnected from outlet check for an internal speaker protection fuse BUT be careful. Charged capacitors can hold a charge for weeks!!!

Contact the authorised service cneter for LG at your town for details. Before updating it, you must know about the version of presently loaded firmware. Wrong version firmware update might make device irrepairable.

It has something loose on the board or where the speaker wires connect. Combo amps are really bad about doing this. The vibrations from the speakers loosen the components on the board.

A simple test is to connect internal speakers across an AA battery (for about half a second) & listen for a click as battery is connected & another as battery is disconnected.

If this does not happen, check the internal jack plug connection & its connection to the speakers.

If OK, then you can test each speaker individually using the same battery across each in turn.

Connecting the CD player should NOT have caused any damage if they were power from the same receptacle and both had grounded plugs OR a walkman type was used which had no external power to it. Power transformers RARELY fail. Check if it has a fuse that has blown BUT do not replace the fuse until the cause of it blowing is found. Switches on a lot of these are POOR and they do fail.

Uneed to update the software whenever the newer version is released to get all up-to-date applications & feature......

LG mobile uk, have now released the newest firmware for KP500 Cookie V10d, BUT with also the Flash Loader Utility Programme that has stopped many of us upgrading the mobile, I have waited 6 months!!! But as of yesterday I was able to finally install new firmware. Follow the instructions, installing software PHONE SOFTWARE UPDATE then when you install it will take you through each step and install flash programme and drivers, once these are install it will ask you to take out your battery and connect the mobile to usb and pc, this will load the flash loader with success. Then remove usb pop battery back in connect mobile with connectivity PC Suite and away you go, it took about 25 mins and i am with Vista. Hope this helps so many.
