Hi i'm having the same issue with power up and also have traced it to the usb connection. Could you give me a more detailed explanation on how to bend the pins back also i'm not to sure what the earth plate looks like?

gently bend them straight with a fine needle nosed pliers, tweezers or your fingers, earthplate? do you meet usb header? no such part listed at dell
the usb header has 9 pins 4 on one side 5 on the other
