Does your cam comes with an installation cd if it does install the software and follow the instructions. If you do not have the cd and you saved the photo on a memory card simply connect a card reader to your pc and copy it directly from the memory card

Hello there. You can download (transfer) photos from laptop to sd card directly only. Put SD card in your laptop and transfer it (copy from laptop/paste to SD card). Check if your SD card is unlocked (check lock button on it). Probably, it is impossible to transfer it from laptop to digital camera, but describe your photo camera. Even if you transfer it to SD card, photo camera will not see them.

your camera comes with a usb cable,and disk.
if you install the disk it with automatically install taking you through steps.
once you have installed,connect camera to usb port on computer,and it will open camera file to transfer photo from camera to computer,
if you just plug usb in it will open your device by asking you things you could do click box that shows open folder,and then select the photos that you want to transfer right click and copy and then right click on desktop,so then they are on the desktop so you can make your own personal file.

highlight them and then drag them to the folder on desktop.done (open file on desktop to make sure you have them in folder before deleting off your camera and remember to remove your hardware safely when done.hope this can help
The possible solution's are
1 . First uninstall the photosmart software from the system and reinstall the software once again . Install in C: drive and then connect usb and transfer photos this will work . If this doesn't work then try in another usb port of the computer and transfer photo's .
2. Photo's will be in memory card ,better get memory card reader and take out the memory card from the camera and insert it into the card reader . Now connect card reader to computer and transfer photo's .
Use a card reader instead of your camera. When the icon appears on the screen, double-click on it and select the ones you want to transfer. Transfer them to a folder you create on your desktop and from there, you can do anything you want with them.
My kodak easyshare camera will not transfer my photos to the computer.
Everything is plugged in and the camera is blinking but nothing is
