press MENU then asterisk * and your phone will be locked..to unlocked it just repeat the procedure...if you want automatic locked of your phone do this....
*MENU
*SETTING
*PHONE SETTING
*KEYGUARD SETTINGS
*AUTOMATIC KEYGUARD
*you have option there ON and OFF ,select ON
now your phone is in automatic locked status ,even you forget to locked it ,it will be safe and avoid dialing...

go to setting>>>>security setting>>> and select automatic keypad lock with lock code,, thatsit
remember your password...

get your phone in normal. hold unlock for few seconds than in your screen press * it will say. use correct timing. this will help you with key lock. and for phone lock go to nokia care website and type your ime no. then you get your code.
PS: just check if your IMEI no. is among the made in phillipines or italy, your 1100 may fetch you 25000 US $ dude.
