The colors on my photos taken with the z6 are awful muddy looking, very dull. Nothing like my z1 which takes beautiful photos. I've tried resetting it to factory default settings and can not get this to give me clear, crisp colors photos no matter what I try. Is something broken on this camera?

I brought my camera in the Philippines last March, 2008. It was doing great. I had been using it and every picture is good. But on April, 2008 I could not just focus it. The outcome is blurry and like a flame near the object. The red eye is on. I tried to adjust the distance from the object. I did everything I know but the outcome still blurry and the flame like burning still there. Please help me.....Fred

1. Check lens to make sure it's clean (see How to Remove Fingerprints From a Camera Lens). 2. Learn how to focus or prefocus your model of camera. 3. Avoid using digital zoom feature. 4. Check the manual to see what resolutions your camera supports and make sure you know which one is selected. Higher resolutions give better pictures but take up more digital space. 5. If using flash, make sure you're close enough to the subject. 6. Sharpen photos on computer after downloading (see How to Get Top-Notch Scans).

Use a tripod to hold the camera perfectly still while taking photos. Even the small shake from your hands can cause blurry photos. Also take photos in as bright light as possible. You can use a faster shutterspeed, thus eliminating blurs.

I suggest to use the "one step photo fix" option in the program "jasc paint Shop Pro" (version 8 and UP), this produces a more brillant and colored photo (I never show a photo to my friends until I use this action ;-)
sorry for my english, I am argentinian...
