update the wireless drivers for your network card. also check the spec sheet for your wireless card and make sure it's compatable with your OS and system.
If you have an internet connection using the ethernet cable but not on the wireless and there is an orange light blinking.. Try to reset the router by pressing the reset button located on the back or on the location were you can twist the stand for the router. press it for about 10secs and that will return the router on a factory settings. before u reset the router make sure to acces the configuration for the internet settings of your isp provider. if the orange light still there, try to download the latest firmware of your router on linksys site and that should fix the problem
If it is an Atlantis(DV6000-6499) it is most likely the mainboard, and it might be coverd by an extended warranty.
If it is an Ares(DV6500-6999) you should try updatigng th BIOS first. If that doesnt help i would go for another WLAN card. It might also be a defective mainboard, but that doesnt happen as often on Ares models as Atlantis.
If you look at the monitor there will be an led light on the front that is always orange or yellow when the computer is off but still connected to the monitor. This led will turn green when the computer boots up, sometimes even showing a "no signal" display before boot. If you see the 'command line' text during the boot process (video info, BIOS version, POST text, etc) then the monitor is being recognized by the computer. If that text goes away and the led goes back to orange then it is a driver or operating system problem. Pressing whatever key is prompted at the lower left of the display, if you have a display, like F1, F2, F10, Delete or whatever will get you to the setup program and all is good with the display/computer connection and a green light will stay on. If you never get that green led light then either the video card is bad or not seated properly
first red is ignition or acc (turns off and on with the key) yellow is constant power (always hot keeps memory) orange is illumination (lights up radio) if vehicle doesnt have a seperate illumination wire connect it to the ignition wire. now process of elimination your ground is correct because it worked with all wires to acc your acc works because u had all them connected to it and it worked your problem is in your yellow or constant/memory i suggest u test it again take piece of wire any old thing long enough will do and run the wire directly from the battery under the hood and just run it outside the car through the window and connect it directly to the yellow wire make sure u have a good connection at the battery on the positive side if u have test light or volt meter test the wire before connecting it to the radio if it works then u know there is a problem with the wire from the vehicle (fuse wrong wire bad wire ) if it doesnt work make sure ground is connected tight and that paint is cleaned of the surface where ground connects and that the yellow wire to the radio is tight in the back of the radio.
go to network connections in control panel and right click on the wireless network and click enable or connect, if it still doesnt show any sign of connection then you may have a hardware fault
