SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Uniden published a frequency directory called "Betty Bearcat"........are these books still available, especially for "Eastern USA"?

I am unsure but an alternative source of excellent information for both freq. and your scanner information could be found on the sites linked below

You should be aware however that scanner use in the US has quite strict legislation which in some states may prohibit or restric use of scanners

A good source of information are the two sites below

Programming Bearcat BC 55XLT Scanner

Ok doc, I'll see if I can walk you thru this as there don't seem to be a manual available for download.
* Push manual button and bring it around to channel #1
Enter the freq including the decimal point. Push the E button to enter the freq into the first channel.
* Push manual again and move to channel #2 and repeat.
If you need some new freq's for your area, go here, click on your state, county, and it'll give you a complete rundown.
