Re: i cant send a pix to an alltel phone1
Which methods have you tried?
You can either email it (if you have email set up on the phone) or when using activesync press the explore button on the desktop software to get access to the files on the phone. You could also take the memory card (if you have one) out of the phone and use an SD adapter to plug it into the computer and use it as a normal flash card.

There really isn't an easy way. But, you do have a few options. If the Scoop is still active on the network, you can send each contact to your bberry as a vcard. Highlight contact, choose menu, send as vcard. You may be able to use a program like PPPIM Backup or similar to archive the contacts to a storage card, then move the storage card to the bberry.
Quickest way would be to take it into an Alltel / Verizon store and let them transfer the contacts for you. There is also a contacts backup application that stores contacts on the server for you, and allows you to restore to replacement / different phone. This one only works if scoop is still on network (activated).
did you got this phone out from market and not from your wireless service provider ??
here is what you need... MMS settings call customer care of your wireless provider and ask for the MMS settings... they will send the settings to your phone and you save it in your phone.. thats it... its all that simple. then try send/rec pic messages
Here is how to Send apicture mail... when you click on a picture to send choose an emailaccount and in the "To:" box type the following with the recipientsnumber in place of the MDN (depending on the recipients serviceprovider) :
try sending one to yourself......if that does not work, make sure you can access a part of the internet...if not, turn the phone off and remove the sim....if that doesnt work, contact your service provider....you might not be set up right in the system
