Are you using either the original charger or a charger made by Apple? People often buy other charges that say they're iPhone compatible, but they don't work. If you are using an Apple iPhone charger (i.e. not just a iPod charger, but a charger made for iPhone) and it is not working, make an appointment (free) at the nearest Apple genius bar and they'll diagnose your problem.

When you say you can't cahrge it, do you mean on your PC, PS3 or with the charger? I don't think the PS3 charges the PSP, I have no idea about the PC, but if the PSP doesn't charge using it's charger, it is either the battery, the charger, or the psp charger outlet. If it is the battery, buy a new one. If it is the charger outlet, it is a good idea to have 2 working batteries and to buy an external charger at game crazy, game stop, or from sony. This way, you can switch out batteries while playing, like me :). If it is the charger, buy a new one.
I would suggest first trying to buy a new battery. If it works, you are good to go and your old battery was broken, otherwise your charger/ charger outlet is broken. Buy an external charger. Then, you will be able to charge the batteries while one is in the PSP.
A new battery and an external charger cost about $70, but it is worth it. I hope i helped.

Radio shack or best Buy. Universal chargers can be bought for about $15. make sure you take the light with you to get he correve voltage charger (very important to keep from damaging the unit)

Did you attatchthe charge cord into the back of the Ds and attatch it to the wall? If you did and it didnt work, then I suggest getting it looked at, as this is usually the less expensive way of fixing it.
