Question about Sanyo EM-W3000W 1000 Watts Microwave Oven
Neither turntable motor(TM) or cooling fan (CM) work.
The light (Not blown) does not work.
Oven heats as normal.
Sometimes cuts out during heating (Thermal Overload ?), if left power will return.
Schematic shows LIGHT,TM and CM in parallel connected to live rail after latch switch then to main relay
Please do not operate the microwave (other than short bursts when testing) until the cooling fan is working again.
Otherwise, the magnetron will be destroyed, and that's expensive.
When the magnetron overheats (since the cooling fan is not working) the magnetron thermostat opens up to kill power and protect the magnetron until it cools back down again.
Chances are you have a bad connection, bad relay, or bad component driving the relay on the control circuit board.
If you will scan (at 300dpi if possible) the schematic, and e-mail it to me, along with clear digital photos of both sides of the board, I can probably help you get this fixed.
Feel free to contact me directly (and please remind me of your full model number).
