Question about Jenn-Air JMC7000 Microwave Oven
I need to replace a Jaenn-Air Wall-Mount Microwave Oven Model M167 Series made in 1993. The wall mount (outer case) is fine, but the interior has begun to flake off. How do I measure for a replacement? Do I measure just the unit or the whole wall mount? And where do I find the capacity? It's not on the unit or in the Use and Care Manual that I can find. Make it easy on me and just tell me what model to replace it with.
Is the interior flaking the only problem with it?
It can be sanded smooth and clean and dried thoroughly, then you can apply some high-temperature appliance paint, available from places like Wal-Mart, Lowe's or Builder's Square.
Otherwise, if you want to replace it, I would suggest contacting Jenn-Air Customer Care here and telling them your model number.
They can probably give you the model number of a new "drop-in" replacement.
