Hi I have a Toshiba Windows Vista and Lexmark Color Jetprinter 2050 model type 4077-203....didnt know how to respond to the last helper....sori I tried..anyway, if you can help now, I would be Soooo grateful.

I'm still not sure exactly what your problem is but it seems to be with compatibility of your 'mature' Lexmark and your new Toshiba.
I have foraged through the Lexmark website and found that they have not written any new drivers for your printer since Windows Me, a couple of generations ago.
