You have to use a tape monitor record in and out connections ( RCA )
it will require two sets of rca jacks ( left and right) (eq in to record out on reciever tape monitor / eq out to reciever in record on tape monitor )

How to hook up 18"

Hello!
SO I am going to give you more of a signal layout from the turntables (or whatever you use to DJ) to the speakers.
Turn tables-> Mixer-> Eq-> Amp-> Sub and other speakers.
The part that I am not understanding is why do you need the QSC amp if you have a powered sub? The powered part of that means that there is a built in amp, which eliminates the need for the QSC amp unless you are sending that sound to main (non sub) speakers.
Hope that helps!

How to connect kenwood GE 52 graphic equalizer to my sony str-DE345 any idea , please help me.thanks.I tried many combination but didnt work.

An EQ usually plugged between a preamp and an amplifier. You have a receiver. There's no connections that will let you do that. The only thing you can do is between a source(ie: CD) and the receiver. The CD will go in the eq and out of eq to cd input on the receiver

Im trying to connect a bsr xr eq to my avr687 denon receiver

If you want the EQ to affect the iPod music only, you can hook up the iPod output to the EQ input, then the EQ output to your receiver's AUX input (or DAT input, or whatever you're using to listen to iPod music.

If you want the option of using EQ for other signals as well, then you hook up the EQ to the TAPE inputs/outputs (TAPE OUT goes to EQ input, and EQ output goes to TAPE IN)

If you hook it up this way, then you have to select MONITOR or TAPE MON to get the equalized signal.

I have a Yamaha HTR-5890 receiver and I am trying to hook up a Yamaha EQ-32 10 band graphic equalizer to the receiver. The frequency spectrum analyzer on the equalizer is working but the graphic...

must have the tape monitor to work the regular tape loop does not physically go back into the receivers processor.

only other solution is if the receiver has PRE out and ins use the PRE out to the EQ then back into the PRE in.

if you have the OUT but no in then the solution would be to go out of the EQ and into an external amp.

In my experience "young adults" like using EQ's to boast bass output.

If that's your goal a POWERED subwoofer is what you need.(check out polk audio direct on ebay)

Your unit is a 7.1 surround receiver the reason that it doesn't have the capability for an EQ is that it messes up the surround sound processor.

If the sound is not what you are looking for the issue more than likely is with the speakers. post a messege with what you want to achieve and I'll try to point you in the right direction.

Right channel not working

Hi....you may want to check the speaker fuse, located on the rear of the unit.. sometimes too small wattage speakers get hooked up and the speaker fuse will blow as to not hurt the speakers.
Hope this helps.

Hooking up an EQ on a Yamaha HTR 5860

Are you nuts? You dont need EQ to this system. This is such a nice syetem, inbuilt EQ gives very good output.Don't try to connect EQ if you are not an engineer. It can be connected with external source
