Question about Arris SB5100 SURFboard DOCSIS 2.0 Cable Modem (50120900100)
I have SB5100 surfboard along with install disk and am trying to hook up new laptop with Vista using Linsky's WRT54G2 wireless router. I have configured the router using Linsky disk. I have run the Motorola disk on the laptop and cannot get connected to internet. I currently have a desk top connected to the same modem with a USB and that works fine. Any suggestions?
The easiest solution would be to use an ethernet connection. A second problem is probably on most cable modems you can either use a USB connection OR an ethernet connection you cannoot use both at the same time.
