Question about JVC KD-G401 CD Player
I cannot remove the front panrl on my JVC KD-G401. Pressing the release button does not do anything? tried to forced out could not remove it. Any recommendation?
This head unit comes with a security screw that can be installed to secure the faceplate for retail display. If it was purchased as a demo model, the screw may be in place. To check, the deck has to be dismounted from the vehicle. The screw location will be in the side of the chassis, near the faceplate on the same side as the release button. Removing the screw will allow the faceplate to come off.
