I had the same problem with mine. Turn the center disk counterclockwise until it unscrews completely and reattach the stirring arm.

The bike start switch doesnt work how do i fix it

Without a proper electrical diagram of your bike in front of me, it is impossible to help you on this one. However, I did a search online and found one that I will refer to and hope it is accurate:

According to the diagram, the red/yellow wire should attach to a terminal on the switch itself. However, the diagram doesn't tell me HOW it attaches. Your best bet is to go to your local bike junkyard and look at another CB500 to see how the wires attach to the button.

When you touch the red/yellow to the handlebar you are bypassing the starter switch, which is why the starter will crank over. Don't do that. :-)

The piece of metal that fell out of the switch is probably a wire clip to hold the wiring in place so it doesn't get pinched when the switch housing is clamped together. There should be a very small post with a threaded hole in it that the screw, which is probably lost now, threads into through the hole in the plate

Is there a diagram for my kelvinator chest freezer? i need to repair a wire that fell off during our recent move

If the wire is green it's a ground wire and can be attached to any metal screw that is near that area

I don't have a grounding wire and don't know what to use!

You can attach a wire to the metal part of the turntable and screw the other end to ground screw on the amp.

I bought a new stereo for my honda hook it up will not work previous stereo did work don't know if the black wire which is the ground has come alose had stereo check its good need to know where the...

The vast majority of cars are Negatively ground. Meaning the negative return for your car runs through the cars frame and metal components. You probaby wont find a ground wire other than the actual negative black wire on the battery, which you will find is attached to the cars metal structure somewhere. Even if there is a ground wire from another compnent within your car to connect to within the car, you can get away without using it. Simply connect the black ground wire from your stereo to somewhere metal, ie slightly under a screw or bolt that goes into the metal subframe or engine firewall under the dash somewhere, join the wire around the screw / bolt and ensure it has good wire to metal contact, the tighten the screw/ bolt up. The subframe / firewall will act as the metal conducter to return power to the negative terminal of your battery. Make take a bit of trial and error to find a good point to join the ground wire but not too difficult to figure out.

Something fell in side the lent catcher on my kenmore 70 series dryer and now its making a very loud noise how can i take it out

Was it metal? Attach a small magnet on a thin stick or string and pull the thing out. Not metal? Something else to attach an object: sticky tape, wire hook.
No luck? Call Sears and ask their repair department for instructions.
Or call Kenmore customer service for advice.

Changed battery .A square piece of metal the size of match head fell out. No alarm or light, casio forester FT200

mcdevito75 here, Of couse without the watch and piece of metal that fell out it"s very hard to say. Most likely it was part of the lock-down tab to keep the battery in place, in any event don"t lose that piece of metal. If your casio is working ok don"t worry about it, just don"t lose that piece of metal that fell out.

Wire fell out of my sons drum set. it's the symbol wire

I just fixed this problem on our WII drums, the entire connector was ripped off the wire. You can get a repalcement jack at Radio Shack (pair is $4). You will have to carefully strip the shield and center conductor, tin with soldering iron and install new jack. Make sure you put the connector shell on the wire before you install the metal jack. Works like new.

MVOHD70 DVD player re-installation

Wherever your overhead dome light is, you will be using the wire harnesses appropriate for the connections. The wire connectors will only fit the appropriate connectors. The best way to attach the DVD player to your ceiling is to screw a wooden block (8" W x 6" L, with the length of the block being width) using self-tapping metal screws. There should be a metal cross-member in the ceiling that will permit you to attach the wooden block with the self-tapping metal screws, or you can use a drill to make pilot holes in the metal cross-member and wood, but you will have to make sure that the holes are aligned. Once you have attached the wooden block, you will have to attach the DVD player by opening the screen and finding the screw holes through the main body of the DVD player. You can then use wood screws in the holes to attach the DVD player. If you have any other question concerning this matter, please post here again requesting MTM help.
