I'm not aware of any FREEware that will recover MS Money passwords, only for the recovery of corrupted files. This should come as no surprise though, given the inherent desperation factor for their product.

However, the following should help you get started on your path to recovery.

REVIEW AND COMPARE the following software choices:

- Advanced Money Password Recovery v1.11
Shows only the 1st 3 characters of the password unless you purchase (to get the entire password). However, if those 3 characters are enough to jar your memory to the whole password, it will be enough to save you the $30.00.

- Money Key
Demo version will "recover short passwords". How many character's "short" is, I don't know.

- Advanced Office Password Recovery
Appears to be the most comprehensive, but also the most expensive.

- Password Spyer 2K
This one is from a link in the above primer discussing recovery of MS Money passwords, but that app is not mention on their webpage. If you inquire and find it is capable, it is the cheapest.

You may also want to consider contacting a local PC tech (or the teenage geek next door) who may be willing to perform the one-time task for an even more nominal fee.

Lastly, but most importantly .... please, please, please let this be the last lesson you'll need for the rest of your life about the vital importance of backing up ALL things essential (data as well as passwords). Specifically concerning passwords, you NEED (repeat NEED) a "password manager". I've tried and evaluated dozens of them, and in my opinion, RoboForm is the clear standout. Been using it for many years now with absolutely zero regrets. It also has several other very useful capabilites as well concerning your favorites, contacts, search engine index, etc. And if you're a mobile PC user in any way, and you have/use a USB flash/key drive, take a look at the portable "RoboForm2Go" version ... simply indispensable.

Good luck.

My computer crashed, how do I recover my NTI Backup Now EZ program? My computer can't find the NTI setup.exe.

Many people confuse system back-ups with system restore and/or recovery programs. They are very different. A backup makes a copy of selected (or all) files and stores them to a disc, tape, hard drive, or other device that will allow you to protect your files in the event of data loss. Say you accidentally delete an entire directory instead of a single file. Your backup would allow you to re-load that directory. System restore/recovery files are used in the cases where you either want to reload the computer back to a certain condition (factory restore), or need to completely recover your computer in the event of a crash. These types of files usually need one of two things to work. If the recover/restore software was OEM manufacturer supplied, there may be a BIOS routine that, using a hotkey on boot-up, will allow you to access the recovery/restore file. If it is an aftermarket program like your, recovery/restore files usually need to create a bootable USB or CD/DVD that can be inserted on boot-up, and then the files on that device will perform the recovery/restore. If all you have a a system backup, you may have to reinstall the operating system, drivers, and then the backup software. After that, you can use you backup file to recover your remaining programs/data.

How do I get my password for my yahoo mail without paying top money to tech support

The reason Yahoo charges to reset your password is for you safety. If they gave out your password to a stranger, they would have access to all of your information.
If you provided an alternate e-mail address you can have your password sent there. That does not cost anything.

I use MS Money 2001. I bought a new PC and is changing from MS Windows XP Pro to Windows 7 Pro. I would like my ms money 2001 to continue working on new PC but I can't find the original disc to copy on...

Hi pjhmulder
Assuming MS Money 2001 and 2003 are compatible with W 7 , you could install MS Money 2003 on the new computer and copy the files from MS Money 2001 on the old computer to MS Money 2003 on the new computer . Make sure you don't erase the MS Money 2001 files before transfer has successfully been executed .
Best regards ,

Windows Vista just stopped working oneday and said my trial version had expired and I needed to enter a new product key. I can not afford to buy a new windows program but I need my computer to finish...

Backup all your data files.
Re-install Windows Vista.
This will "reset" the trial-software back to "day one".

Or, see:
and then switch from CANADA to your country.
Post-secondary students can "rent" the software,
or buy it at a VERY attractive price.

Antivirus again

Antivirus programs are useless these day's they can only protect you from viruses allready know not new ones created and released.Your best bet is to check out a program called deep freeze, a virus comes in new or not and you simply turn off and on your computer and your right back to your original state. you can even delete important registry information and simply turn off and on your computer and all is replaced. save your money antivirus programs simply add more complication's to your life than you need. have a great day.

How to reset the password of .rar file

well you seem to be in a little bit of a predicament. There is one way to get around the password and that is only brute force. If you can find a way around the password, you still won't be able to decrypt the files. Running the following program is going to be your only way in and it is going to take a long time. You need to set up the program then let it run, possibly for several days. If your password was short, 3-4 characters, it should get you in within in probably a day. Any longer, you need to set it and forget about it for a while, but it will eventually get you in. Make sure your computer stays on in the meantime. Good Luck to ya.
