Re: Can I syncronize my ipod to two different computers?

Hey Smurf, you would probably lose it if you sync both machines. but the way to do it is connect the ipod, go into my computer and into the removeable drive for the ipod go into the music directory and copy all the music you want to add to the ipod into that folder then go to other pc and do the same should work ok.. All the best John

I just 1st time ipod buyer .I got from some one in craiglist is locked I need help to unlock

Connect your iPod to the primary computer you use it with (the first one iPod synced with), and open iTunes. When you disconnect iPod from the computer, it will no longer be locked. If you can't unlock iPod using either [the code or connecting it to the computer you use to manage its songs]. . . you can restore your iPod to factory settings using iPod Updater. Please note that this will erase all data on your iPod. Afterwards, you can add your music and data back to your iPod.If you want to change the primary computer that your iPod is associated with, do this:1. Restore your iPod. Warning: The restore process cannot be undone. All of your songs and files will be deleted. Always make a backup of your important data.2. Connect your iPod to the computer that you want to be the primary computer.3. Open iTunes and synchronize.
hope this will help you...Have a Nice Day

How to download music on to my i-pod

Downloading music from your hard-drive to you Ipod is done with the program called Itunes. This program comes with your Ipod purchase or can be downloaded at The software is vital because it not only allows you to purchase from the popular Itunes music service, it's also the only way you can transfer songs onto your Ipod.

So let's look into the Itunes software, and more specifically, the Itunes library that is used to transfer songs from your hard-drive to your Ipod. You'll find it on the left hand panel of the program. Your library contains all your songs, movies, and podcast that you want to transfer over. Through the Itunes library, you'll be able to use their drag-and-drop feature for easy and fast transfer to your Ipod.

Before we move one to the next step, it should be made clear that songs that are downloaded from P2P clients might not show up on the Itunes library. You must add them manually, because you will not be able to transfer any songs until they are integrated into your Itunes library. Doing this is simple. Click on file>add file to library, locate the file you want to add, and press enter to complete the process. There is also the 'add folder to library' function which allows you to transfer a whole folder of songs into the Itunes library. This is quite handy to have if most of your songs are stored in one place on your hard drive.

Alright, let's get back on track here. You know the proper steps in which to keep your Itunes library updated now, and the last step is a breeze. Plug in your Ipod to the USB port in your computer, and you'll notice the new option to add songs from your Itunes library to the Ipod. Click and drag your files into the Ipod transfer screen and then you're done! You're now ready to explore the wonderful world of music without the burden of a large cumbersome computer to haul alongside you!

Why do I not have the option to sync my ipod with windows media player. The option is grayed out.

add the music in the library (the media player's library ...) first and after that I believe will do ...I once had this problem when i tried to sync an apple I-phone in iTunes ...and after I added songs in the library it was available ...but be careful cause it may sync all the music it the computer if you add all music..My advice if it is not Apple use ITunes...use a ipod manager like this one ..and you can add melodies much easier...

How can i download music in computer send to my mp3

Depends on your MP3 player. Most generic models allow you to simply connect the USB cable, read it as an extra hard drive and just drop them in. Apple however requires Itunes, though many alternative Ipod programs exist that allow you to simply add songs with no hassle.
Zune also has a program thats non specific to the manufacturer allowing you to add music hassle free.

Move Itunes songs from my Ipod to a new computer

Everytime you install itunes for your iPod it sync'c for ones with your iPod. And on next time if you try to put it into another dock on a different computer the software asks for "Erasing the Data inorder to sync your iPod within that system",and its a common feature can't be changed!!!
The only thing to avoid this happening is try to back-up the iTunes library which is saved in My Documents-->My Music-->iTunes-->iTunes Library(WINDOWS system). And after a fresh installation of another iTunes, paste your back-up file to the new saved area in My Documents-->My Music-->iTunes itself :ask for replace , to replace all. Then from that it uses your previous iTunes data's itself.
Hope this Helped!

Cant unlock ipod

if you forgot you combination code then you have to restore your ipod to factory setting. y Or you can randomly try to unlock it , there are only 9,999 possibilities, If your 'friend' can remember any of the numbers it decreases the number of attempts that you'll have to make. To restore Connect to the computer that you sync with and hit restore from iTunes. Important note :-when you reset your ipod, it will erase all data from your iPod. You'll need to add your song and data again.
