Kenwood triblade blender

It stopped when blending. Is there a cut out switch or something like this?

How do I disassemble a Kenwood KMix hand blender model HB894? Does anybody have some service manual? Any disassemble diagram?

There is a name plate, it is glued on so you need to prise it off. Underneath is a tab - press it along with the other two on the side and the motor assembly slides out.

My Blender has overheated. What happens now?

Good evening there
Blenders can be tricky, they overheat or will not start.
What is worth noticing and try to do is to be careful that all "marks" on the base, the screw thing, the glass and the top are all in line.
If the blender does not start after you have done this try to move the blender one "hack" to the left. Mine usually obeys to these manouvers.

Stick blender won't clip in

Look down into the implement socket on the handpiece and see if there is an obstruction. The rubber 'cap' from the end of the last implement used may still be stuck in there. If so the use a small hook to prise the cap out and re-attach to implement missing same. See picture. This was same problem I had with HB720 blender.

Blender overheated

If it won't run once it has cooled down, you have probably cooked the electric motor, which is not worth trying to fix.

If you have some time to poke around, it is vaguely possible that a switch has burnt out, which can be fixed/cleaned. Another longshot is a burnt out fuse, but I doubt it has one.

Stopped blending

Exact same problem.  Turned out the threaded shaft that holds the blades was broken so tightening the nut on the top doesn't really help.  Just ordered a new blade assembly from www.smallappliance.com.  Mine was the Waring 007314W Blender Cutting Assembly but there is also an older one for earlier models.  Don't know if it will work yet (assume it will), but cheaper than buying a new blender.
