Not aware of any DNS servers that are hosted by Sony
However,DNS servers are hosted by your ISP, if you are getting a DNS error, Iwould be willing to bet that you are also unable to surf the interneton another PC.
Best thing to do in this case is reboot your modem (Cable or DSL), your router, and your PS3, in that order.
That way everything has time to sync up, grab a IP address, DNS, etc. shut the power off on your modem for about 30sec and turn it back on let i tboot up and try again
