Question about Creative Labs Zen Touch MP3 Player
How do you work the zen mosaic? How do you add music, videos, etc to it? What is the video and music already on it? What if you don't want it on there?
I think alot of people are having the same problem I was. We got home, opened the box, plugged it in the computer, and nothing useful happened so then we installed the mini-cd. Well the thing is windows stops looking for a driver once it searches and finds nothing, and unfortunately those of us using XP do not automatically have the drivers. So...
-If you have not already installed the mini-cd, do so, or download from Creative's site in the support section(if you do you might want to grab the latest firmware update)
-Once pack has been installed the drivers have been as well, BUT as I mentioned we now have to tell windows to look for them again.
-Reconnect your Mosaic
-Right click "My Computer"
-Click the "Hardware" tab
-Click "Device Manager"
-A window will pop up and you will see a long list with (hopefully only) one thing under the "Other Devices" sublist. It should be something along the lines of "Creative Zen Mosaic". Right click it
-Chose "Update Drivers"
-Follow prompts agreeing to search and auto install
-Once install is done, in a moment the screen on your Mosaic will say "Docked"
If you have downloaded the updated firmware this is the time to install:
-Ensure your Mosaic is in "Docked" mode
-Execute the firmware update
-Wait (it takes a moment or two)
-Updater will say it is complete
-Mosaic will reboot
Hope that helps.

It's so easy. Little CD has to bee added in your Mosaic pack. Install Creative Centrale, select files and transfer to your Mosaic. It's and easier way - just go to My Computer > Zen Mosaic and drom music (in Music folder), pictures. In Mosaic in the start is some videos (4), i think, one song, and a lot of photos. :)

-Go to a free music site such as: http://bomb-mp3.com/
-Open up your Zen Mosaic Lx files
-Just stick the downloaded music into the Zen's music folder
-Go to a free videosite download
-Put it in your "My Videos" folder
-Open Creative Centrale
-Transfer videos to your Zen by adding it to your "Transfer List"
-*** This is done by a 13 year old boy in Denton, Maryland and it does work if not you did something wrong. Bye. ***-

Get Creative Bundle pack for zen mosaic from creative website. Dont install the enclosed CD in the package coz some files may be corrupt due to shipping here n there. This happened to me. After install, plug in mosaic and it should detect. Then you can transfer music, photos, video of your choice. If still never detect after multiple tries, ask creative for help.
Creative Bundle Pack for Zen Mosaic contains:
-Creative Removable Disk Manager
-Creative Zen Moasic Driver
-Creative Zen Mosaic User Guide
