We heard beeping and then display is out. Top of stove burners still work, but not oven
SOURCE: the igniters wont light the burners
49er, if none of the igniter switches work you're on the right track. Follow those wires and you'll come to a "spark module". This will need to be replaced. Part number 74008821... lists at about $21.00. Good luck and let us know how it turns out.
SOURCE: electronic touch pad not working on my oven
Hello beachlady80,
Welcome
You said, It was working fine last night but when you woke up this morning the
display has 3 vertical lines and none of the electronic touch pads
work. The burners on top of the stove still work.
What is the model number and how old is the range ?
Try turning the breaker off for 10 minutes and then on again after this allotted time.
This may reset the system.
Let me know how it works.
Waiting for your answer.

SOURCE: I have admiral Stove top burner is workni but oven is not working
This may be due to a bad main clock/electronic control but the only way to know for sure is to do some electrical testing with a volt/ohm meter and the wiring diagram located within the appliance. If possible use the meter and the wiring diagram to check input/output voltages looking for discrepancies between the diagram and the actual meter readings.

SOURCE: burner on glass stove top has turned black
The nice grey-flecked surface coating is very thin; the solid black is underneath. You've "cleaned" the coating off -- that's why further scrubbing just makes it worse. We did the same thing :-(
