From where does the set get its input signal?
- Direct from cable or satellite receiver?
- Via a DVD, VCR or home theatre?
- Is this a new set just being put into service or had it been functioning OK before?

Samsung LN-T4665F 46 in. LCD Television
Please help. When I turn on my set it begins to click and tries to power on for about 3-4 minutes. Eventually turns on and all you see are vertical lines all over the screen. I've had this TV 16 months & bought extended warranty from Repair tech LLC. Who are I believe out of business. can I change the capicitors you refer to, if so can you give me some pointers on this. -   naderJersey
Hello dod2470, This is a common problem with this model. There are some bad capacitors in the power supply. This is the the feed voltage for the signal board. Just replacing those capacitor will fix your unit

My uncle has a Samsung 50" HD LCD TV, I've asked him to call me and let me know the model number. He's had it aprox 2 years. It started taking longer and longer to switch on, first 20 seconds, then a minute, then 5 mins, now it is taking over an hour. My uncle is a pensioner and he doesn't know what to do. Does this sound like a fixable fault to any of you?

Not sure if it is a problem but latley when I turn the TV on it will give a "clicking" sound as if its turnng on and off. It does this five to ten times. I think it depends on how cold it is. Is this a problem?
