Question about NEC Electra Elite DTU 16D-2 Corded Phone
I messed up the contrast in my display - NEC DTU 16 - I can't read the date, time, incoming caller ID... and can't fix it. Please help.
You should be able to adjust LCD contrast when phone is idle, just use the up/down arrow button to adjust it (don't go off-hook). If you have background music set, the above procedure will adjust the music volume instead. You can turn Background music on and off by pressing <Feature>,2,6 when your phone is idle. Alternatively, you may press <Speaker> 6,0,2 and then use the UP/Down arrow key to adjust LCD contrast.
