Question about Kenmore 62602 Electric Dryer
there is a tension bracket on the bottom side. LOOK and roughly draw the path of the belt. Feed the new belt around the drum. The last thing is to adjust the tension below. Its spring loaded, so no exact measurements here.

What I do first is remove the filter and thos 2 phillips screws where the filter housing bolts to the top. Then with a putty knife I pop the top., so that I can remove the crews holding the front on. I raise up the front so the clips at the bottom don't get damaged. I remove the drum and clean out the dryer. I remove the filter hoising and clean it out with water. I vacuum the blower housing and motor. I oil the wheels and roller with HVAC high temp resistance slow disapating zoomoil ($2 at any ace hardware). I get a friend to help hold the drum up whileI connect the idler. I stick the idler in the floor with the weel facing left. I loop the belt through the idler and onto the motor. I give it a few slow turns to make sure it is not twisted. The ribbed side needs to be against the tub not the slick side by the way. I have photos and more HERE
