I have a logitech quickcam 10.0a and i'm looking for driver for windows 7 to install. Can you please help me?

It will depend on if you have a 32bit or 64bit version of Windows 7. If you're unsure, you can check by clicking on the start menu, then right-click computer and select properties. This will open a window with system information including 32/64bit version.
Then go to http://www.logitech.com/en-us/435/352 and select Downloads, then windows 7, your bit version, and click download software.
Please leave feedback if this was helpful. Thanks!

TROUBLE TRANSFERRING LOGITECH CAM TO NEEW COMPUTER

If you specified the model# of your webcam, it would be easier to say if its compatible with W7 or not. The model# should be located on a tag on the USB cable.

However, if you go to the logitech website, www.logitech.com , you can check there for updated drivers under the 'Support' area. First of all, most Windows 7 copies sold today are 64bit systems and not the 32bit which has been pretty much standard up until this point. To check which version you have, to to Start - Right-click 'Computer' and chose Properties. It should say here.
Secondly, according to Microsoft, all Vista drivers should be compatible with Windows 7. So if you find Vista drivers for your webcam, you can install that. Keep in mind that you would need Vista 64bit drivers if you have Windows 7 x64.
If you cannot find any Vista/w7 drivers, it's only compatible up till Windows XP. However, it might be that you can plug'n'play, in other words just plug it in and windows will have the standard drivers to make the device work. This will of course not include any logitech software, but basic camera functionality.

QuickCam Zoom not working after upgrade to Vista

Just read the most wonder article on how toe fix your quickcam zoom for vista follow these steps

These is from 2007 post so you will have to google for the drivers mentioned. I did and it worked

I have a Logitech Quickcam Zoom and this is how I got it to work:
1. Install QuickCam 32-bit Version: 10.5.0 Build 1096b
It can be found here: http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/downloads/software/CA/EN,CRID=1794,contentid=10234
2. When you get to the camera detection part where it asks you to plug in your camera, plug it into a new usb port (if you had it plugged in when you installed Vista) and just press skip.
3. Windows may try and find the driver for it, you can cancel that too.
4. Install the old QuickCam software (Version: 8.4.8 build 1034A)and overwrite anything it asks you to (it will fail to install completely because of the new version, but it will put the files you need into the Logitech program files directory.
The old software is here: http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/downloads/software/CA/EN,CRID=1794,contentid=7649
5. Go to the windows orb (former start button), open control panel, go to system, then on the top left of the window click device manager.
6. Find the unknown usb device (hopefully you only have one... otherwise unplug anything else that doesn't work or you haven't updated the driver for yet)
7. Right click and select update driver, choose a location to find the driver, navigate your way to C:\Program Files\Logitech\QuickCamWebInstall\Drivers\WinNew\PRO2
8. Press OK or whatever, and let it install.
9. Enjoy!

Mine didn't even need to reboot and worked with the 10.5 QuickCapture software. Still need to test with Skype and Live Messenger though.

Hello

Hello, you can download the driver and the software from the link below:

simply select your windows and the version, (if your not sure about 64bit or 32bit? just take 32bit, if you had 64bit you would know it for sure)

Haveing trouble installing logitech quick cam onto my comuptor thats running windows vista

This problem was caused by a compatibility issue between Windows Vista and Logitech QuickCam Messenger.
Logitech QuickCam Messenger was created by Logitech, Inc..
Recommendation
—————-
To search for similar devices that are compatible with this version of Windows, visit the Windows Vista Hardware Compatibility List website online.
However, it’s not totally out of hope for owner of Logitech QuickCam Messenger who has upgraded to Windows Vista. The following hack will use Windows XP driver (a common trick to use non Vista compliant device) to install the webcam in Vista:
  1. Download QuickCam 8.4.8 with driver for WinXP.
  2. Install WinRAR if not already installed yet.
  3. Open the setup installer qc848enu.exe and unpack its contents to a folder. Alternatively, right click on qc848enu.exe and select “Extract to qc848enu\” option.
  4. Insert or plug in the Logitech QuickCam Messenger to a USB port if not already done so.
  5. An “Driver Software Installation” icon in systray (notification area) should appear, which will pop up detailed message if click. It should fail, and “Add Hardware Wizard” dialog window will appear. Choose to install the driver manually by instructing the Wizard to locate and look for the web cam driver inside the Drivers folder under the unpacked folder of the qc848enu.exe setup program. You can use browser button to select the folder.
  6. Windows Vista should grab the XP driver and install it properly.
  7. Download the latest version (10.5.1) of Vista compliant QuickCam software from Logitech to install the software on Vista.
  8. Run the setup (qc1051enu) normally. You may need to skip the detection of webcam near the end of installation process.
Voila, you can now use the Logitech webcam to capture images or use it in conjunction with video chat in IM programs such as Windows Live (MSN) Messenger, AIM Messenger, Yahoo! Messenger, Skype or run Logitech VideoCall.

i hope thist post can solve your problem

thank's
