Re: my computer is connected to my westinghouse hdtv...
The computer is connected to your display port input on the TV. This transfers video signal only to your flat screen. You need to get an RCA (white and red cables for R and L, sound)to 1/8th inch cord that will plug into your headphone socket, or OUT of audio jacks on back of tv to a stereo system or receiver/amp(soundsystem)

Have you installed the driver for the monitor? Look for the cd that came with it and install it to your computer. If the driver is already installed, then update it. You can use RadarSync to update all. David
Hello, it sounds like you need to replace your LIPS board (power/inverter board), if you would like to know price and availability please email email@example.com with the request, please make sure you include the model#, serial#, and TW#, all located on the back of the unit.
Hello, it sounds like your inverter board is goin out on the set, when you change channels if you notice on almost any TV the screen goes dark and the new channel appears, it sounds like you are not getting enough power out of the inverter board to power up the backlight enough to come on. This is why the sound remains because everything else works fine and the sound is connected to the main board.
I bought a 32 LCD Westinghouse TV 12 months ago. It stopped working so I brought it to a TV repair shop. They determined that the main board went out. The TV's power supply is working but there is no screen or sound, nothing. The TV repair shop had to call Westinghouse to inquire about a replacement part. Funny, Westinghouse doesn’t make replacement parts for this TV. Westinghouse said we need to ship it back to them and they will send us a new TV. Okay that sounds good but they wont pay the $100 plus shipping costs for us to ship the broken TV back to them. Also, they make you send them the TV before they send you the replacement TV. That can take days. If the customer's TV went out because of the company’s faulty product, the customer shouldn't have to dic around with this shipping issue – Waa, Waa! The TV was nice but for it to conk out in one-year shows what shi++y merchandise Westinghouse is selling their consumers.“Buyer Beware”
