just run the parkingbrake wire into one side of a toggle switch, and grond the other side of the toggle switch, When the WARNING pops up on the screen, just flip the toggle on then off then hit OK on the screen, Youll be good to go

My lanzar sd31mu says that i cant play a DVD while i drive I want to know what to do. Thank you.!

there is a wire that goes to the parking break warning light switch, simply disconnect to watch while you drive, but this may be illegal so I would say don't do it, not to mention dangerous.

My cd player does not have an external amp wire but has amp connect jacks how do i hook it up to my amp?

You should plug your RCA's from your amp to your radio output. Then you should take the blue power wire for the amp and splice it to the blue wire on your cd players wiring harness. The blue wire is for an automatic antenna or for 12v current for a amp.

How to by pass the jensen dvd player prk sw parking brake.

You have to hardwire it to bypass the e-brake. Take the peach-colored wire and ground it to metal inside the dash. Put a toggle switch inline on the wire and mount it somewhere you can reach it. When you get the blue screen when starting a movie, open the switch for 3-5 seconds, then close it again to reapply the ground. Your movie will start up, and you can then drive away with it playing.

Hooking stereo to parking brake

Don't even bother hooking it up to the e-brake. You can bypass the e-brake. The bonus is that you can play a DVD while driving, and you also don't have to worry about tapping into the wrong wire and potentially damaging the head unit.

Wiring

The brown wire, according to the installation manual, is the "Mute Wire". Their instruction is:
"Connect to the terminal that is grounded when either the telephone rings or during conversation."

So this appears to only be necessary if you are also using a mobile phone with your system.

The orange/white wire is the "dimmer control" lead, which should be wired into the switch that turns your car lights on and off. This will probably allow your head unit to dim when you turn the car lights on (night time).

Hope this helps!
