Question about Sager NP9890 Notebook
After powered on black screen comes up with many warning's and failures. Wants me to enter system configuration, but won't do anything when I try. I cannot get past this screen. It just started recently, before that no problems.
Ok, after reading i noticed that the computer cant find anything, not even the keyboard which is why f1 doesnt do anything, none of the controllers are registering, im beginng to think the mainboard in the laptop is dead. the main thing is the cmos error, usually when that happens the battery for the cmos has died, but even if we put a new battery in there is the possibility the keyboard wont work......so the first thing is to replace the battery, not the laptop battery but a small watch battery inside the laptop, are you able to do this yourself? if not can you take it to someone who can? The CMOS checksum error is the first problem thats on my mind.
