Red Light on front of Filter Queen Defender

Red light on front of Defender Air Purifier. There's a red light on the front of my Filter Queen Defender. I've changed the filters, but it's still on. Is there a reset, or am I missing something? Thanks

When the red light is blinking, press and hold both up and down arrows until the red light blinks RAPIDLY, release both for a second or two, and press and hold both again until it stops blinking. It cured my problem.

To reset per the instruction manual: 1. Plug unit into outlet. 2. Press power ON/OFF switch to the ON position. 3. Allow unit to start running at low speed. 4. PRESS and HOLD both the UP and DOWN arrow buttons until the FILTER REPLACEMENT INDICATOR starts to blink. 5. Release both the UP and DOWN arrow buttons. 6. While the FILTER REPLACEMENT INDICATOR is still flashing, again PRESS and HOLD both the UP and DOWN arrow buttons untile the FILTER REPLACEMENT INDICATOR turns off. If this doesn't work repeat. Note on step 6: the FILTER REPLACEMENT INDICATOR must be flashing when the buttons are pressed the second time. Hope this works...:>)

Mother gave me her filterqueen defender.. no manual. 360. There is a flashing red light even though its a new filter. Why?

The light is a reminder to change the filter, it does not sense if the filter has been changed or not.
When the red light is blinking, press and hold both up and down arrows until the red light blinks RAPIDLY, release both for a second or two, and press and hold both again until it stops blinking.

Need manual for Filter Queen 360 Air Purifier

I'm going to go out on a limb and guess you want the Defender model and not the Majestic model. I believe the latter is a vacuum. Here's a link to the Defender 360 manual. Best of luck.

If you have replaced your main filter you need to reset the red light. If you have not replaced the main filter you will need to contact your local filterqueen distributor. If you go to www.filterqueen.com they will direct you to your closest distributor and they can walk you through over the phone on how to reset your red light.

Orange light help

Did you find an answer to your orange light question? I have an AM4000 defender that I bought off Craigslist and thought I got a good deal on it. One minute after turning it on the red light came on. I tried to reset it but  the red light won't flash so you can't reset it. I don't know if it's a filter problem or a circuit board problem and I don't want to spend $100 bucks on filters to find out it's a different problem. If you buy filters on e-bay, they're cheaper but if you spend $100 from a distributor then you reactivate the warranty. I'm sorry I bought it.

Red light

Here is the link to the user manual; http://www.filterqueen.com/pdf/defender.pdf The red light indicates a filter needs replacing, see page 6 of the manual (page 9 of the pdf file) If filters have been replaced and the light still flashes, then the reset procedure (described on the same page) should work. If still flashing then there is a more serious, but probably fixable fault. Hope this helps - ask again if you need more info :)
