MS Office 2003 Problem with Bold

I am using MS Office 2003, and recently, I can no longer bold text in my emails. Either, I try and the cursor jumps from the selected text to another word and bolds/unbolds that one, or nothing happens at all. I have tried in rich text, and html text, have tried closing and restarting. Thanks.

Thanks for the help - I was able to figure it out myself. I couldn't reinstall the program, as it's my work computer and I don't have access to programs and admin rights, etc. What I did do that fixed it was delete the Normal.dot template, restart Word and Office, and now it works!

Hi there,

You could have done a number of things (by accident of course) so it’s hard to find - on line.

Therefore the best solution would be; to remove you Office installation and re install it.
Start -> Settings -> Control panel ->ad remove program, find and remove Microsoft office.

Restart the computer, and reinstall your office.

    NOTE:

In case you were afraid for your Word documents,

Don’t worry, they are still there after re install.

I can no longer access MS Office 2003 docs on my computer. It doesnt matter how I try to open them. The message states preparing to install, then a new msg pops up stating Installation source for this...

Hi! I don't know about your previous usage versions of MS Office on your system. I don't know about "genuine" concept over your present MS office 2003.

Mostly, for new system, office would available under trail version only, later it blocks.

Suppose if you tried to update present version to 2003, then there may be chances to loss of some files. At this point, you may get errors while accessing and at the same time, it may show you errors or starts for install process.

try to update your package with online update and with genuine key and have fine with office package

How do i make gmail my email editor i have mso on my computer

Hi, Your operating system is tied to MS Windows 2003 and also with the MS Office Suite of 2003 that's why the default is MS Outlook 2003. Gmail is internet based and not restricted to your operating system. You can also access MS Outlook on the internet (Microsoft Office Web Access - MOWA) You will have to operate the two seperately as both have the features you will need.
THanks & best Wishes

EMAIL COMES IN NOT BOLD

You wont actually have any control over that one. Since you are having problems with a web-based email or a webmail, all the design and coding for that specific site is only handled by your mail provider and that is AOL. Since you are having problems with this kind of error what you could do is notify AOL of the problem that you are getting so that they could check it out and rectify the issue on their server.

Bold not printing "bold"

Please check with wordpad, if it prints proper
  • if yes only problem is with ms word, uninstall MS office 2003, clean registry using any good registery cleaner, then reinstall.
  • if not, the problem is with windows or printer--> unistall windows fonts, reinstall them.
  • uninstall printer, restart system, reinstall printer
Hope it will work, if not please feel free to contact back.

I dont see my sent items after i import my email outlook 2003

MS Office Outlook 2003 will only show those e-mails in the sent items folder that were sent using the e-mail client application (i.e. MS Office Outlook 2003).

Any messages sent from the server itself wil not display.
