Question about Audio Players & Recorders

1 Answer

Can't get DVD/VHS player to work.

My DVD and VHS player never has worked. Model number is DR-MVSSU. Serial Number is 120G7095.
Could I get the manual for this; I can't find any that came wirh it.

Is there a local technicial in SE Florida where I could take this, or maybe "hire" someone to come to my home and set it up?

This is a link to JVC's download for the DR-MV5SU (you typed MVSSU, which I'm guessing is just a typo):

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Hi I owed a Sansui VHS/DVD player. The serial number is VRDVD4001AC. I would like to request a manual for my player. Thanks Cecilia Arguello

Hi Cecilia.

Unfortunately the manual for this model is not available for online download.

You can obtain a copy of the manual asking directly to Sansui. Here the contact form.

Regards.

Ginko.

Hello Cecilia,

It would be best if you will post the model number instead of the serial number.

Looking forward to your response.

Have a Sansui VCR/DVD player/recorder. I'm trying to record a VHS to a DVD. Lost the manual. Can you walk me throuh it?

Google the term "Sansui/the model number/manual." A lot of hits will come back, likely a number will have a free downloadable copy of the owners manual.

My JVC DR-MV150B plays prerecorded VHS tapes fine.

Try opening the front hatch of the tape by pressing the small, square button on the right or left (short) side of the tape. Check the black tape inside for any marks, dirt, scratches, tears, etc. If the tape is fine then your unit needs to be cleaned with a tape cleaner available at any electronics specialty or retail store. Good luck to you!

I have a JVC DR-MV5S. When I dub a VHS to DVD,

The disk must be finalized. Instructions are on page 79 of the instruction booklet for the MV5S. I can't get the manual to download from the MVC site, but maybe it will work later. Hopefully you have the manual.
