Question about Linksys WUSB54GSC Compact Wireless-G USB Network Adapter w/ SpeedBooster [WUSB54GSC] (LS-SB54GSC)
I had a 2-hour power outage, and since the power returned, the adaptor appears dead. No green light. No recognition by the computer when it's plugged into a USB, and obviously my PC can't find the network or any networks.
Anything to try before I throw it away? This is actually the second time this has happened. The first time Linksys replaced it because it was so soon after the purchase. This time it's been awhile.
You can try first to connect the adapter on a different USB port and check if it will be detected if not detected if possible try to connect it on a different computer and hopefully it will be detected but if still no adapter is already dead and needs a replacement and linksys has a 3 year warranty for this one so if its under warranty have it replace, you can contact Linksys via this number 8003267114...
