Question about Computers & Internet
MY daughter chose the wrong language when setting her new game on her ds lite for the first time, how can I get back to the language choice screen on the game to reset it

Games for the DS are created in specific languages unfortunatly, so unless it was designed with a language menu selection, its not possible to change it no matter what you update or adjust in the DS.
You can tell the DS to use a different language, but this affects its own menues and things - it has no way to 'translate' in-game text that has not been pre-made that way.
Also many games don't use actual text, but instead use images of text, like many websites do (a good example if the word GOOGLE on the google home page). Obviously this means that there is no way to change those text images without the authors reprogramming the game again with all new images included.
Often with game cartridges for things like the DS, the makers only use a specific language to prevent those carts being shipped out to other countries ilegally, as this helps them to 'control' & see what the market is doing regarding sales of certain types of game & application.and prevents in the same way that DVD films have region protection built-in.

a 6ya Technician can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repair professionals here in the US.
click here to Talk to a Technician (only for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
