The tubes which we see at the back of the fridge carries a cooling agent(freon or ammonia...),the leakage in that may cause the fridge to work not properly.check whether there is any leakage in that.the pressed down DEFROST switch may also result in the above said result.so try to check it and refill the gas as soon as possible.thank you.

Unplug your refrigerator from power chord for 30 minutes and plug back the power chord to the refrigerator .
After changing defrost if your having this problem it indicates that the defrost heater is faulty .
Also check for any clogging in the inlet line.

Hi and welcome to FixYa,
Initially, this normally would point
to the fan not spinning. The function of the fan is to draw the cold
air from the freezer and force it through the vents to the refrigerator
area. Even having said this, the fan is activated by the logic
controller based on the the thermostat setting of the refrigerator and
condition of the door (it must be closed).
To check:
Alternately, it may be the vents, flaps or vanes that are stuck, clogged, blocked and hence no air flow from the freezer to the fridge side.
Good luck and Thank you for using FixYa. Happy Holidays.

Depending on how long it been since you changed the heaters it takes a good 24 hours to get temp back down and if it been longer than that check to make sure evap motor in freezer is running by holding down door switch with door open to listen to motor run ,,, if it isn't then go back in and make sure all wires are hooked back up as should and that the fan didnt get bounded up while into to and if all is ok then replace the evap motor ,,,, larryyb
