SOURCE: Water damaged Laptop

Attaching an external keyboard does not help because the keyboard controller is damaged.
I recommend you put your money towards a new laptop as the cost of repair maybe too expensive or beyond repair. Most computer repair shop charge for a quote and may drop this charge if you go ahead with the repair.
If the hard disk is OK then I suggest you remove it from the laptop and insert it into an USB hard drive adapter case and use it as an external USB hard drive for backups and data transfer etc.

Get an error "err surface burners off" when starting self-clean mode

I have the same problem with my GE Profile gas range. Every time I try to lock the touch panel (pressing and holding RANGE LOCKOUT), this message shows up. Every time this happens, the message goes away in a few seconds, but the touch panel never really locks. I didn't realize this wasn't the proper behavior until last night.
Last night, I did the same, but this time the "err turn burner off" message would not go away and there was an audible alarm beeping at once per couple seconds. I cycled the power by turning off the circuit breaker and back on, but every time the same message and alarm comes back.
When the err message is on, no gas is fed to the burners -- when I turn the dials, no gas come out from any of the burners. I guess this message is to alert the user that one or more of the burner dials are still in the open position and is telling the user to turn them off to the closed position.
Even though all four burner dials are in the fully off position, one of them was apparently not recognized by the sensor as being in the fully closed position. By turning this dial slightly in the clockwise direction just a little past the off position (even though it already appears to be in the fully off position) allows the sensor to recognize that it is now off. The error message and the alarm goes off and the panel then showed LOC, indicating that it has entered lockout mode. After that, I can unlock the panel by pressing the RANGE LOCKOUT button again.
So for me, the problem seems to be that the sensor for one of the dials was not registering that it was closed, and turning it a slight bit past off did the trick. The other three burners have no issue.

I just bought a VW 1.4 Polo, when I start it comes 'service INSP,' after about 4 km it show just 'service'. Its moving fine but this message is worrying me, what should I do, ignore it or it...

The "INSP" message becomes flashing on the dash after 15000 km or after 1 year, depending which one occuring first. Therefore it's very probable that one year had passed, or 15000 km. Service due!
