What is the board manufacturer and model number?

If KM266 is the model number, the only one I could find is by Albatron. If that's your board, you will need to replace the board, processor and memory. That board uses a socket 462 processor and they are obsolete.

Hi, you can do what i always recommend to my customers, install a new industry standard architecture (ISA) motherboard kit which will include a motherboard, processor, memory bundle. This future proofs you pc for at least five years, enables you to upgrade memory and processors on a plug 'n' play basis. fitting a kit is dead easy, with full instructions and what's more you will not lose any data on your hard drive either. Hi i have intel D102GGc2 Mother bord with pantium D processor , ATI radeon Xpress200, pci Xpress, LGA775 socket previously running Xp Sp3, now windows 7 wold it work properly wht additional requier to add...

You should have downloaded drivers for your graphics, audio, LAN,WLAN and if required printer for Win 7 before you upgraded too Win 7. If you can, re-install XP+Sp3 and do the downloads that would be the best idea. An alternative would be to use a different computer and download the drivers. For reference, download all drivers for the new OS before you remove the old OS. Good luck.

SONYVAIO-PC

You dont need any driver since your PC is configured as x64 bit processor so all you got to do is get hold of the XP OS which is meant for x64 compatible PC's. The one normally used is 32 bit named as x86. I hope u wont face any difficulty in getting hold of x64 based OS(XP)......sodeep

Hello sir, the system zone-2 temp., always keeps flashing in red.

It is a motherboard problem. But you can disable that alarm from the BIOS. I would simply raise the upper threshold in zone two from 56 to 60 if I were you. If it still flashes red put it back to 56 and disable it.

Will motherboard will support winXP pro

Hi gimondor,

The motherboard really isn't your worry. Windows XP pro requires a 300 megahertz or higher processor. You motherboard can take from 100 to 400 megahertz, so you need to know what your CPU is. If your running an intel P4 chip, and at least 128 mbs of ram, and you have at least 2 gb's of hard drive space left on your hard drive, then you can run XP Pro.

Good Luck,

And please leave a rating based on my solution.

I installed windows 7 os and my mother board drivers not support that os.help me.my mother board is asus p5rd1-vm. pentium 4 processor 512 ram

Come back on XP or Vista but XP works better. There is no driver for W7 yet.Motherboards manufacturers will provide drivers for W7 when Microsoft will announce that the system(W7) is ready to be sell....Windows 7 is still beta! If Microsoft still provide "UP DATE" for XP why you want to install other OS?
