SOURCE: RE:Samsung Model #TCD1341, Manufact./Aug.1995, digital-capable?

No it does not have a HD tuner. The simle way is a Digital Converter box for about $40.00 it will have composit out (red, white and yellow leads) plug these into TV you will have a converted Digital signal that will make your old set
look like a HD set.

I have a thin line in my tv and i dont know what ic no.to replace?

The fault is a failure of the deflection circuit and since you have not specified whether it is a vertical or an horizontal line the section failed will be related to the position of the line.
If horzontal the vertical IC or the section related is faulty and if Vertical the horizontal section., Now this can be the deflection IC, teh deflection coils or even discrete components like capacitors or resisitors in this section which will require a signal trace with a voltage test before the absence of the sync pulses are confirmed and the section identified.
I request not to change the IC unless it is proved but you can solder the vertical IC or the section concerned -- if there is dry soldering.

I have sony 55" wega

If this is just a problem with the remote specifically and 'not' manual buttons (on the tv) then the problem is either the remote or the IR sensor in the TV.

First thing is to check the batteries (which im guessing you have done) but its a process of elimination.

Second is to try another remote. If you can get your hands on another universal remote for example, then you can see if its the IR sensor on the TV, or just the remote control.

Sharp CX80H6 Has sound, no picture for TV or AV OSD works

Hi,

This style of failure with the CX80h6 and indeed other CX80 & SX80 series SHARP 80cm sets is usually due to problems with the PIP (picture in picture) sub-board. This small board plugs vertically into the main left hand PCB (seen from rear of set) and is sealed in tin-plate for RF shielding. I've had two CX80h6 sets recently with this exact failure and both had problems with the PIP sub-board. One needed a new regular on the board while the other had a dry joint on the connector. This sub-board is not available from SHARP anymore, but in most cases the failed component is a discrete that usually can be sourced in it's own right. So this sub-board is where I think you should start your fault finding.

Regards,
Romsey
