Depending which might be blown - finals, etc.. Depending on the radio cost of repairs vs. just buying another one.

I have an almost new Midland 75-822 that the WX works fine on, but the CB doesn't seem to receive, or transmit. It operates normally, but no reception, and no evidence of transmissions.

you'll need a schematic and some knowledge. there a two diodes that control the rx and two that control the dx.Check them to make sure they are producing the correct power out put if they are not you should replace all 4

the first button on the right hand side changes the fm to am but these usually break down. it is a small push button switch with four legs two at each side, but recomend sending it in for repair.

When driving over rough ground my midland alan 48 plus multi cb will sometmes change channel on its own i wondered if this could be a mike problem as you can change channel from the mike

Check for loose buttons, could be something loose inside, if its changing on its own when its moving around could be from vibration that something has come loose.

When parked just try shaking the mic first if that doesnt do it shake the cb itself and see if the problem persists
