Re: horijontel line to come moniter
Hi and welcome to FixYa,
Initially, pls check and replace if deemed faulty the Vertical IC301 KA2142. Additionally, you may want to check that pin 9 is getting +28VDC as supplied by diodes D303 and D301. In some instances, capacitor C627 also requires replacement. You may also want to check R307.
Good luck and Thank you for using FixYa. Happy Holidays.

If the line is horrizontal then the fault is in the vertical deflection circuit.
It is not worth repairing an old CRT monitor, unless you have electronic knowledge. I do not recommend repairing CRT monitors yourself, because there are dangerous high voltages inside these monitors, even though the unit is unplugged from the main outlet. The CRT tube will hold high voltages for weeks even though the monitor is turned off.
I suggest you put your money towards a LCD screen, they are inexpensive.
If still under warranty or if you have no electronic repair experience you should take the set back to the shop or to a repair person. Some of the solutions described below can be dangerous, TV's are very hazardous to service. Even when plugged out, TV's can store very high voltages.
May need to check the caps in the G-2 supply circuit. Also you may have a CRT going flakey. Just a slight G2 level adjustment may suffice also.
